Box-it are seeking an AI/ML engineer to join our team in developing cutting-edge AI/ML solutions to optimise the scanning and storage of content. The ideal candidate will have a background in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with a focus on designing and implementing algorithms to process large datasets and extract valuable insights for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define AI/ML solutions to address data analysis challenges.
• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models to process and analyse large datasets.
• Evaluate and refine AI/ML models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in data analysis.
• Integrate AI/ML solutions into existing data analysis workflows, enabling automation and scalability.
• Continuously research and stay up to date with advancements in AI/ML technologies to identify opportunities for further innovation and improvement.
• Communicate complex AI/ML concepts to non-technical team members and clients in a clear and concise manner.
• Promote and sell the company’s services to ensure growth.

The successful graduate will lead this project, in a supportive partnership with TUS (Midlands Campus) and will also have the opportunity to avail of a Post Graduate Diploma with Queen’s University Belfast as part of the employment offering.

• Minimum 2.2 degree in Data Analysis/Software Development/Computer Science/Business (with ICT).
• Recent experience in information governance, compliance, data protection, records management, and information systems.
• Experience with business process improvement and reengineering.
• Extensive experience of working with customers and delivering solutions to meet strategic business needs.
• If necessary, you must have a valid work permit/visa in place allowing you to work legally in Northern Ireland and travel to Republic of Ireland if required.
